Currently, Dr. Blinder is working towards a second
edition release of his very popular text book "The
Eating Disorders : Medical and Psychological Bases of
Diagnosis and Treatment". The choice was made
to host the new text here on the website because Dr.
Blinder wants the text to be as available as possible
to researchers, students and the public.
To offset the costs incurred in development of the
text online, visitors will asked to pay a small fee
to gain access to the text online content. Dr. Blinder
wants to make it clear that those involved in research
without budgets and/or students and/or the public with
special circumstances that prevent them from making
payment of the fee will be allowed to petition to gain
access on an individual basis (so, this means that person
alone will be given access no extensions such as entire
classes and/peers within that individuals group).
